You haven't flash the logo.bin and you haven't flash the cdt.bin. Probably the phone don't boot for this reason
According to xml file on fastboot you should flash this :

<step operation="flash" partition="cdt.bin" filename="cdt.bin_signed" MD5="9fb18221c21927bed2183576c62921cd" />
<step operation="flash" partition="logo.bin" filename="logo.bin" MD5="06c07c2970460a4e656a3206859a3617" />
<step operation="flash" partition="ebr" filename="ebr_signed" MD5="3c00a3fe21d135a8fab93ce3562c0f2d" />
<step operation="flash" partition="mbr" filename="mbr_signed" MD5="c327288c22e1840ec1e8ac9b6374b7b3" />
<step operation="flash" partition="devtree" filename="devtree_signed" MD5="2cb1bb2fa91c7adcb3c3a5a815043d78" />
<step operation="flash" partition="system" filename="system_signed" MD5="b7a431e960a6ee49e496ca66e6b37825" />
<step operation="flash" partition="boot" filename="boot_signed" MD5="6477d74ede02c2c502b8a5ad9e483b37" />
<step operation="flash" partition="recovery" filename="recovery_signed" MD5="048b475ba4e0bd052b3988d1a7451ce5" />
<step operation="flash" partition="cdrom" filename="cdrom_signed" MD5="9acc98917cae592ecec9a67f1b9ad3ce" />
<step operation="flash" partition="radio" filename="radio.img" MD5="180ff6c5fbbfc50d3448ce5584a96632" />

I realised ( after a while ) that I should be using RSD Lite to flash this guy ( Noob here, helping out a friend ), and that reported success all around.

Booting takes a while longer now, but always returns to the Boot Failiure screen, with all the above still in place.

Are there any unbricking tools that I should be aware of?

Thanks

Hi,

I have my Motorola Droid Razr with Stock ROM and following details

System Version - 651.167.26.XT910.Retail.en.EU
Android version - 2.3.6
Baseband version - U_03.1C.93P
Webtop version - WT-2.0.0-139
Kernel version - 2.6.35.7-g24431a2 / rjd378@zch45lnxdroid63 #1
AP flex version - GAS_EMEA_USASPDRRTGB_P048 / GAS_EMEA_USASPDRRTGB_A022
Build number - 6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2-3
Build date - Fri Feb 10 18:52:20 CST 2012

Brief history - I have rooted my phone with Dan Rosenberg's root method. After that I tried unofficial ICS European leak with safestrap. It didn't upgrade, still on GB w.3.6, but fortunately no other issues. Finally uninstalled safestrap recovery, uninstalled safestrap app, deleted all files related to safestrap.

Q1 - If I flash this EU ICS official fastboot package with RSD Lite, will it work on my phone to upgrade to ICS? If anyone has precise steps, please let me know.

Q2 - What precautions should I take to make it fail-safe? Is NANDROD back up & titanium back up enough?

Thanks

OK, I am completely screwed after flashing this package to my RAZR Asia Retail :(

These are the steps I followed to brick my phone:

1) XT910 MAXX working with an AsiaRetail 2.3.6 firmware. [OK]
2) Rooted. [OK]
3) Flashed CWM. [OK]
4) Flashed unofficial CM9. [OK]
5) RSD Lite official european leaked ICS. [KO] bootloop on "M".

And now I am stuck there at AP Fastboot. I've tried tons of roms, both with RSD Lite and FlashIT, with no success till now. I know it's been a very big mistake to flash this official EU ICS package, and it seems I totally bricked my phone.

Do you know guys of any method to unbrick it?

Cheers.
