Can I assume that the download link being a 404 error page means that (for now) that the fastboot isn't actually available yet?

Nope, it means that I'm too much distracted.

@SGMD1
The one that works with the RAZR and BIONIC will work for this, too.
You can even use my EternityProject FlashIT to flash without RSD

Haha!

One more quick noob question...since this is 6.13.215, can it still be flashed over 6.13.219?

Btw, where do I find the eternity project flash it? RSS can be complicated at times so an alternative is worth looking into.

Is there an MD5 for this file? A lot of mirrors have popped up today so I think it would be good to have

Two people over at droidforums have reported a "AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)" message at 17/18 when flashing one of these files using RSDLite 5.7.
Any idea what could be causing this or how to fix it?

I was one of the two people over on the Droid forums. My battery has died, so I hacked up a cable and made a factory cable. Where the 5v of power is going to the unused pin on the micro-usb connector. However now, RSD does not recognize my phone at all, nor does my computer. I'm guessing we need different drivers for this setup. Does anyone even have access to them? Thanks

Tried to edit but it wouldn't let me. My computer DOES recognize the phone, but it's an unrecognized device in the device manager.

Are you sure you have connected VCC and not D+ to the ID PIN?
....And are you sure the cable is good?
Remember that if you connect D+ on the ID pin, your PC won't be able to recognize the device due to bad signals.

Yes. I also found something else out playing around today. Ubuntu recognizes my phone, and your linux flash tool seems to work with it. However, when it starts to flash, the battery goes from "OK" to "Low" on my phone and it fails in the flashing. Which isn't really possible since the battery has been removed from the phone. I've got another idea to try as well. I'm thinking it's possible to do this again by connecting the positive and negative pins on the battery connector to a dc source without the battery connected. That way I'd have constant power going to the phone. Now just to figure out how to keep the wires connected to the pins.
